This property is located South of Luray off Route 340. You can expect a 10-mile drive to the town of Luray. Drive across the creek and relax leaving the city behind. Our Stone Cottage is nestled into the foothills of the lovely Blue Ridge Mountains. The majestic Big Meadows Mountain of the Skyline Drive is within view. You can rest on our flagstone patio and watch the wildlife running through our secluded acreage. We have bunny rabbits, deer, squirrels, turkeys, and a variety of birds that are frequent visitors here. There is a wood burning fire pit outside for moonlit evenings to enjoy. You can relax and melt your stress away by tubing down the Shenandoah River which is minutes away, or you can hike the mountains of Skyline Drive. Additionally, you can stroll along the Greenway in Luray, which winds along the Hawksbill Creek, and take a picnic lunch to eat at the tables provided. There are many antique stores throughout the valley, several stocked trout streams to fish, and a golf course to play in Luray. We hope you will join us for a tranquil getaway!
Massanutten Resort is about a 24-mile drive, Luray Caverns is a 9-mile drive and the George Washington National Forest Story Book Trail is about a 14-mile drive. The Thornton Gap Entrance to the Shenandoah National Park is about 25 minutes away.
